I’m trying to jump for joy over the U.S. victory down in Brasil. I’d jump even higher if I had the slightest idea of what soccer/futbol was all about. Sat in my doctor’s office yesterday while he (French) and another patient (Italian) went on and on about the World Cup. To them it seemed to be the Super Bowl (49ers starring), World Series (Giants in contention), and the Olympics all rolled into one far superior package. My dilemma: Figure out soccer or polish up Chapter 23 of the Duke of Union County?
